October 3, 2018 – MARLTON, NJ –  Xtel Communications co-founder and Executive Vice President Liz Sorino is participating as a panelist and subject matter expert in Telecom and
E-Rate for Schools at the Schools, Health & Libraries Broadband Coalition (SHLB) 8thAnnual Building the Future Conference held in Washington DC, October 10-12.

Sorino will be featured as a panelist along with representatives from Century Link and Crown Castle, at 2PM, Tuesday, October 11 at a session entitled ‘E-Rate Service Provider Toolkit’. This panel session, moderated by Steve Augustino (Kelley Drye & Warren), is designed for
E-Rate service providers and is intended to guide them through current issues and compliance considerations. ‘The Service Provider Toolkit’ panel will cover the life cycle of the E-Rate process, from setting up your sales channel to managing E-Rate’s bureaucracy. The panel will address three primary questions for service providers. 1) How to set up the organization, compliance with the competitive bidding rules and how the E-rate market differs from other SMB markets; 2) How to handle funding reviews, invoicing and certification; and 3) How to address the current hot-button issues in E-Rate enforcement.
